Sure we all have a few tees in our closets…and if you’re the wife of one of the owners of Where I’m From, you have about one hundred tees in your closet. Here are some great ways to accessorize and dress up a t-shirt, to make it a bit more trendy to wear out. Don’t get me wrong, you can catch me doing errands in just a t-shirt and some running shorts, but the collages below represent what happens when I snazz things up.
This state of Ohio flag shirt is a favorite of mine. It is super comfy and just one of those shirts that I always tend to pick out when hunting in my closet for an outfit. I love wearing it on a Friday or Saturday night. I pair it with a legging or a dark skinny jean. Then I throw on a denim button-up. Depending on the look I am going for, I switch it up between a long-sleeve polka dot denim and a sleeveless light blue denim top.
Bold colors are trendy and make for a great outfit, especially in the spring and summer! You can’t go wrong with our Purple Tres Ohio t-shirt. This shirt says Ohio in an ombre of yellow. Dress it up with a yellow cardigan for those cooler summer nights. The great thing about this is that any shade of yellow will work. A brown cross body completes the look. Perfect for a weekend shopping trip or a nice lunch date with friends.
What to wear on game day!? Go simple and stylish with our buckeye v-neck. This buckeye in the shape of Ohio is a very popular shirt. When wearing it I almost always receive an OH…to which I respond IO! Pair it with a denim skinny jean or shorts, depending on the weather. Throw on your favorite shades and some comfy shoes and you’re ready for the game!
The fourth of July is almost here! What a fun way to celebrate our country by wearing red, white and blue? Where you’re going to the lake, a cookout or a backyard party, anything goes for the 4th as long as it is in those patriotic colors. I love the Where I’m From tank top that simply says USA. I plan on wearing it with some denim shorts that have some stars and stripes on them. Similar shorts can be found at Forever 21 or even Target. July 4th is known to be hot, so a simple bun can make this outfit look chic. Add a bright color cross body bag and your favorite sandals. What’s great about this outfit, is that worn separately the tank top and shorts can be worn all summer!
